This hardcover book that’s essentially fan art was designed, produced, and bound from scratch. My narrative and concept are directly based on the second studio album, Melodrama, by the artist, Lorde. The album carries a loose narrative on an emotional breakup from a three year relationship between a writer and photographer. The plot is described to be placed in a single house party and all the emotions it entails. I used this conceptual approach and applied it through visually representing a youthful, generational behaviour of which I am a part. I did this through the use of personal photography that resonates with this and merged it with singular lyrics from each song. This resulted in a narrative in which each song represents a separate chapter of this plot.
